TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Machining parameters for aluminium, plastic and PVC to get the job done correctly. Knowing the correct speed and feed rate values will enable you to achieve better results.

CLASSIFICATION OF PLASTIC
The term ‘plastic’ is generically used to denote a type of material that can actually be made up of countless varieties of combinations of polymer structures and dimensions.
For this reason, defining precise machining parameters is not easy and must be adapted according to the type of plastic. For soft and elastic plastics, we recommend using Z=1 cutters, which allow for greater stock removal. It is also advisable to increase the stock removal volume to avoid excessive tool wear.

CNC MACHINING CENTRES
These parameters were obtained using a Z=1 single-flute cutter (article U101-U111), maintaining a cutting speed of 18,000 RPM. These parameters are indicative and should be modified according to the type of plastic material and machine used. By using a cutter with two flutes Z=2, on the other hand, the feed speed can be increased while maintaining the cutting speed.

SAW BLADES CUTTING DATA RECOMMENDATIONS
Our saw blades are specially treated to ensure perfect flatness and tensioning for cutting aluminium and extruded profiles with maximum precision and reliability. Based on the saw blade diameter, the correct RPM must be calculated.
